The Smokehouse Creek Wildfire, originating in Texas, is the second-largest wildfire in state history. This wildfire, along with several other fires, have spread throughout the Texas Panhandle, Oklahoma, and Kansas, devastating various communities. Many have faced displacement from their homes and livelihoods, and access to resources has been limited. The following organizations are providing relief to those impacted by the wildfires by providing immediate and long-term relief efforts.

Three years ago, my brother's best mate (Frank Bos) was diagnosed with ALS, which is a fatal muscle and nerve disease. Frank has been putting his "endless" energy and positivity for 200% at work to raise funds against this awful disease. For that, he has recruited a team of more than 140 friends & family and so far raised over 1 MILLION EURO!! Two years ago I joined the "Tour the ALS" with Frank's PEDALS team to raise funds by climbing the Mont Ventoux. Last year I unfortunately had to skip the 2nd team team PEDALS went up. The good news is that Frank is still around. The bad news is that he's not doing well, however still keeping up his positive spirit. He will be there this year, but can't sit in the tandem-bike to be pedaled up by the his brother and team anymore. On June 18th 2026 I will be riding up Mont Ventoux with Frank's PEDALS team again, and this time my oldest son (17) will be joining me to raise funds. Frank is one of the most energetic, positive, and inspiring persons I know and on top of that a true athlete. We share a passion for cycling and over the years we've undertaken some great biking adventures together like the "Maratona dles Dolomites", riding the Golden Gate Bridge with both families, and the famous Utrecht-Vrouwenpolder tour with exclusively headwind... So....if I can help Frank by jumping on the bike again, then I don't need to think twice! I want to be there for Frank, for his wife and kids, and for my brother Wouter. Mission 22 is for our veterans to seek help before they commit suicide Veterans are doing this 22 times a day and I know because of my own son who served our country. He had 20 years total with the government and served 13 years and was oversea for Iraq Freedom twice.. He received many medals and came home and suffered with ptsd. Please consider in his memory to support our veterans who can make a life be saved.. I know I wish my son was here to day.. but I want to get out the message to our Veterans they are and this company to see who cares. Please help

A waterscouting troop in Uithoorn. Scouting is an organization that offers many activities to young and old, including fire-making, working with rope, sailing, rowing and much more. After having a troop house near the river for over 40 years, the municipality now wants to use the grounds for apartment buildings. This means the club will need funds for a new building, as the municipality is not supporting the club. The money from this fund will go to this new troop house.

In honor of what would have been my Dad's 66 birthday, I'm raising money for Brain Cancer Research. My dad, Peter Hughes VandenBerg, was diagnosed with brain cancer April 12, 2007 and met this challenge, as he did his entire life, with Faith and Courage, and the support of his family and friends "Team Vandy". As I've become a father myself, I have a new respect for his dedication to family and how hard it must have been to be present with us while battling cancer. My father passed away at 3:33am and my son was born at 3:33am. Life comes full circle. I'm raising money so we get one step closer to finding a cure for brain cancer.

Sie unterstützen etwa zwei Millionen Menschen mit geretteten Lebensmitteln. Tafeln unterscheiden sich teils stark in ihrem Angebot: Einige öffnen ihren Tafel-Laden alle zwei Wochen, andere unterstützen mit ihren zahlreichen Ausgabestellen täglich hunderte armutsbetroffene Menschen. Manche konzentrieren sich auf die Lebensmittelausgabe, andere bieten zusätzlich Projekte, Treffpunkte, Möbelbörsen und vieles mehr an. Alle Tafeln eint jedoch ihre Mission: Lebensmittel retten, Menschen helfen. Die Tafeln sammeln überschüssige Lebensmittel ein, die für den Müll bestimmt waren, aber noch gut und genießbar sind. Sie geben diese kostenlos oder gegen einen geringen Betrag an Menschen mit wenig Geld weiter. Damit engagieren sie sich unabhängig von politischen Parteien und Konfessionen gegen Lebensmittelverschwendung und lindern Armut. Die Arbeit der Tafeln basiert zum Großteil auf Spenden: Wir freuen uns über Sach-, Geld- und Zeitspenden. We have no time to lose. Duchenne Parent Project therefore wants more and better research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. To develop medications that can stop or slow the breakdown of muscle. Gathering knowledge about the muscular disease is not happening fast enough. Duchenne Parent Project is an independent foundation founded in 1994 by Elizabeth Vroom, mother of a Duchenne son. They are committed to improving the future prospects of Duchenne patients by playing an important role in developing medications that can treat or cure Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy! For all boys worldwide. This can only be done through faster and better research. Through (international) cooperation at all levels. They also develop projects to improve medical care and independence. Through better and faster knowledge transfer, training and, for example, the development of tools. They are achieving success! The results of a number of research projects are promising.

Last year we received the sad news that my brother-in-law (Frank Bos) has been diagnosed with ALS, which is a fatal muscle and nerve disease. Most patients will pass away, 3 years after diagnosis. To give future ALS patients a better perspective, more research is required. To this end, Frank has founded a Tour du ALS team, named PEDALS (Positive Energy Dueling ALS). This group has already collected 167.000 euros with a group target of 250.000 euros. Next to a financial target, we will have a sportive target as well: each participant will climb the Mont Ventoux one or multiple times. San Diego County has been hit by a series of historically heavy winter storms that have resulted in widespread flooding across our region. Since October 1, San Diego has recorded more than 7 inches of rain with more than 6 inches falling in the last 18 days alone. We could reach our annual average rainfall, 9.79 inches, by February 10. The wettest day, January 22, delivered the highest 24-hour rainfall amounts in San Diego since 1850, according to the National Weather Service, and caused $90 million in damages. The following nonprofit organizations are currently working to provide basic services and aid to those impacted by the record-breaking storms and subsequent flooding. The Elim Foundation was founded on December 3, 1993 with the aim of: Building and maintaining facilities for the Elim Children's Home and all related projects that benefit the children. The idea for this arose when Cees Rijke came into contact with large groups of street children in Indonesia during his work as a tour guide. Cees has adopted several children and, among others, gave Isaac a name: Isaac Rijke Sayuna. When Isaac grew up, he wanted to help other children who, like him, no longer had a home or family to care for them. Cees' meeting with Rianne Noordzij resulted in the concrete plan for the establishment of the Elim Foundation. Isaac Rijke Sayuna is married to Nonoi. Together they have four children and Isaac and Nonoi manage the activities on site. Target group and the request for help Elim mainly focuses on children who have to miss their parents at a very young age. There are also stray children whose parents cannot care for them. The children in the Elim children's home often do not know when they were born. Most children have had traumatic experiences. Unfortunately, the children are already around ten years old when it turns out that things are going very badly for them. In this remote corner of Indonesia there are no local authorities that provide care, so the population has to rely mainly on private initiative, which is what Elim focuses on. ​ That is why care and attention for housing, education, nutrition, clothing and medical care for those children is still desperately needed. Isaac and Nonoi and the employees of the Elim Foundation want to break the negative spiral and give children the chance for a better life.

Around 18,000 women get diagnosed for breast cancer on a yearly base in the Netherlands. Around 6,000 of the diagnoses are young women in the age between 25 and 50 years old. The number is growing. Women below 50 years old are not included in the annual breast cancer screening provided by the government. BUT THERE IS HOPE! A new way of breast cancer screening, which should become available to all age group is developed. It is currently preparing for real- life testing on women in Eindhoven. The YvYa foundation is helping raising funds to make this happen. Help donate, to make early and painless detection of breast cancer quickly available to all women of any age.

Der Tierschutzverein für Berlin ist ein Verein mit langer Tradition. Mit einer Fläche von 16 Hektar ist das Tierheim Berlin so groß wie 22 Fußballfelder. Es gibt vier große Katzenhäuser, sechs große Hundehäuser, ein Kleintierhaus, ein Vogelhaus sowie ein großes Gehege für freilebende Katzen. Hinzu kommt der Tierschutz-Bauernhof für sogenannte Nutztiere wie Schweine, Ziegen, Schafe, Gänse und Hühner sowie eine Exotenstation für Reptilien, Affen und andere exotische Tiere. Darüber hinaus verfügt das Tierheim Berlin über eine eigene Tierarztpraxis mit moderner Einrichtung, eine Katzennotstation sowie einen modern ausgestatteten Veranstaltungssaal, der für Veranstaltungen gemietet werden kann. Am Rande des Tierheims befinden sich außerdem ein Tierfriedhof sowie ein großes Hundeauslaufgebiet mit Spielmöglichkeiten.
